In this fairytale-like land, the protagonist grew up, but after returning, she begins to reflect on her roots. However, she spent many years in a big city. She falls in love with Máhtthe, a reindeer herder. His mother disapproves of Lenin’s way of life, considering her an outsider. Doubts arise about whether their relationship even has a future. The film is a journey into an inner personal crisis and the search for hope.

This sincere debut from director Sara Margrethe Oskal, who herself was a reindeer herder, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.
