The Nutcracker on Ice is a modern and captivating adaptation of the classic fairy tale by Ernst Theodor Hoffmann. The dynamic beauty of figure skating, bright costumes, enchanting music, and a light multimedia show come together to tell both children and adults a clear story about the importance of believing in miracles.
The choreography team of the Czech Figure Skating Union has involved some of the most talented athletes in the show. Professional athletes and soloists from world-class ice shows, representatives of the best figure skating schools, and participants in global sports competitions are part of this unique performance. The show also features ice artists, ice acrobats, and other performers.
The production is a musical reworking of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s classic fairy tale, complemented by new instrumental compositions and original songs that the audience has come to love.
The Nutcracker on Ice is a musical performance on ice – an incredible spectacle for the whole family. It combines the traditions of classical theater with the latest trends in the global entertainment industry.
