Experience the unique sound of The HU, the Mongolian masters of Hunnu Rock! Traditional instruments, throat singing, and hard rock—all combined into one unique genre. Get ready for the energy that conquers world festivals and the hearts of fans everywhere!
The Mongolian band The HU blends the power of rock and metal with traditional instruments and throat singing, creating a completely unique genre they call Hunnu Rock. Since their formation in 2016 in Ulaanbaatar, they have gained millions of fans worldwide. Using instruments like the morin khuur (Mongolian horsehead fiddle), tovshuur (Mongolian guitar), and tumur khuur (jaw harp), they merge Mongolian cultural heritage with modern rock and metal sounds.
Their debut album The Gereg (2019) quickly topped global album charts, and songs like “Yuve Yuve Yu” and “Wolf Totem” have hundreds of millions of views and streams. The band has collaborated with artists such as Jacoby Shaddix (Papa Roach) and Lzzy Hale (Halestorm) and even caught the attention of legendary Elton John. Their Mongolian cover of Metallica’s “Sad But True” earned recognition from Metallica themselves, who included it on their album The Metallica Blacklist.
Supporting the Mongolian band The HU in Bratislava will be the Brno-based fantasy pagan folk sensation Deloraine! Deloraine brings the magical world of fantasy into music through their unique blend of pagan folk, medieval melodies, and modern energy. Inspired by The Witcher, Tolkien, and Slavic mythology, they create a captivating atmosphere full of mysticism, rhythms, and emotions. Deloraine will take you on a musical journey between worlds—where bards sing and flames dance.
