The shock of the musical event of the year was quickly replaced by overwhelming joy from fans! Such reunions usually spark massive enthusiasm. Long-time friends from the Nightwish era, Tarja Turunen and Marko Hietala, reunited on stage after many years—and the chemistry was undeniable.

The response from fans in cities where these unique concerts have already taken place has been outstanding, and now, after their South American tour, Tarja and Marko are bringing their joint performances to Europe. Their recent single and video Left on Mars was a clear sign of things to come, and now they’re coming to three cities in Slovakia to get even closer to their fans.

Slovakia won’t miss out on the unique concert structure: Marko performs first, followed by Tarja’s solo set, and then the magic happens—Marko joins Tarja on stage to perform at least seven songs together. Everyone knows what that means:

Marko will play tracks from his solo album Pyre of the Black Heart, and possibly some from Tarot. Tarja will follow with a setlist made up of fan favorites from her solo career. The finale will feature both of them performing a selection of iconic Nightwish songs and, of course, their newest duet, Left on Mars. You’ll be transported back 20 years to the legendary eras of Oceanborn, Wishmaster, Century Child, and Once.

Now that’s what you call an experience—and it’s one you can have in March 2025 in Košice, Banská Bystrica, and Bratislava.

The tour is aptly named Living the Dream Together, a title that perfectly reflects the experience in store. For those who’ve been dreaming of this moment—it’s finally here.
