Vincent van Gogh’s Sunflowers are among the most iconic paintings in the history of art. This film seeks answers to many questions related to these paintings. Why did Van Gogh choose sunflowers? What message does the series of paintings convey? How do the individual paintings differ? What have scientists revealed after studying these works in detail? The film will visit, in addition to the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, London, Tokyo, and Munich, in order to uncover the secrets of five famous Sunflower paintings by Vincent van Gogh.
