Submitting a Notification of the Declaration of a State of Emergency Abroad.

The service is designed for citizens of the Slovak Republic abroad. Through the service, you can submit a notification of a state of emergency abroad. The service does not require the use of an eID card and is available 24 hours a day.

The service is free of charge. To ensure successful assistance in an emergency, provide the most accurate description of your situation, how you ended up in it, and your attempts to resolve it.

Steps to use the electronic service:

  1. Fill out the electronic form.
  2. After submitting the notification, if it contains a contact email, the system will send information about the recorded notification.

Steps after using the electronic service: If you have submitted the electronic form for emergency notification, you will need to perform the following activities:

  1. Communicate with the MFAEZ SR official to address the emergency via email or phone contact provided in the contact details.

Data Protection:

The data controller processing personal data is the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, with its registered office at Hlboká cesta 2, 833 36 Bratislava 37, ID: 00699021 (hereinafter referred to as “the ministry”). The ministry processes the personal data of individuals mentioned in the request to fulfil the legal obligation of the data controller, based on the legal basis set out in Article 6(1)(c) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons about the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), in § 13(1)(c) of Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the protection of personal data and the amendment of certain laws, and in a special regulation or international treaty to which the Slovak Republic is bound.

Personal data may be provided to recipients who have the status of independent controllers and to whom, based on a special regulation, an international treaty to which the Slovak Republic is bound, or the consent of the data subject, the ministry is obliged or authorized to provide them.
