EU citizens visiting Slovakia are allowed a three-month stay. Beyond this duration, registering residence becomes necessary. This registration is essential for various purposes, such as acting as a representative for a company seeking trade licenses, conducting business, studying, or working in Slovakia. We assist in managing the entire registration process at the Foreigners’ Police on your behalf.
Upon entry, an EU citizen with a valid ID can stay in the Slovak Republic for three months. Within ten working days of arrival, it’s mandatory to inform the Foreign Police about the start of the stay. If the stay exceeds three months, an application for residence registration must be made within 30 days after this period at a police station using an official form.
