About the book by the author Julia Liu and the illustrator Tomáš Řízek – My Dear Strange Friend:

A book about friendship and the journey to mutual respect. It tells the story of how important it is to love yourself and appreciate others. Although it has a huge body, it is invisible to most creatures. Its gray, dull fur makes it look like an ordinary stone on the road. One day, it meets a flightless bird named Čiči, and a friendship forms from their meeting. “Why does Čiči always feel like something is missing in Pipi’s life? And does Pipi think the same?”

Miriam Halamičková: She studied therapeutic pedagogy and violin playing. She is dedicated to art therapy, play therapy, and music therapy, but she most enjoys the space between all of these, where sensitive interaction with children meets stories and creativity. She is part of the creative team behind Posvieťte si s nami na sny at the Artforum bookstore and creates children’s music under the name Dievča bez hranostaja.

Admission is free, but you must be a member of the Old Town Library. You can register as a library member directly at the event.
