On March 26, 2025, at GOPASS Arena, Bratislava, the iconic music of Mike Oldfield’s Tubular Bells will come to life under the direction of Robin Smith, a close collaborator and friend of Oldfield. This special performance will also feature beloved classics such as Moonlight Shadow, Summit Day, Family Man, and Ommadawn.

Robin Smith, an enthusiastic admirer of Tubular Bells since its 1973 release, worked with Mike Oldfield on Tubular Bells II and III, conducting performances at historic venues like Edinburgh Castle, Horse Guards Parade in London, and The Millennium Bell in Berlin. The show premiered at London’s Royal Festival Hall in 2021, receiving widespread acclaim as a tribute to one of the greatest English composers of the past century.

Mike Oldfield—a visionary composer, multi-instrumentalist, and pioneer of electronic music—rose to fame with Tubular Bells, his groundbreaking 1973 debut album. Renowned for its distinctive 12 chromatic tubular bells, the album became a best-selling instrumental record and gained worldwide recognition through its inclusion in The Exorcist (1973).
