Event Description:

A unique exhibition showcasing extremely enlarged insect models in stunning detail. With over 20 mega-sized models reaching up to 5 meters in length and weighing 1 ton, there’s no need for a magnifying glass – even the tiniest features are visible to the naked eye.

After its pilot exhibition at the Winter Riding Hall of the Valtice Chateau and a premiere at the Brno Exhibition Centre, the exhibition moved north under Kunětická Hora. Now, it’s coming to Slovakia, to Bratislava at the ePORT shopping center on Ivanská cesta.

Insects are the most diverse group of creatures on Earth, representing up to 90% of all living organisms and having inhabited our planet for over 350 million years. Many plants and animals depend on insects – and vice versa. Without a doubt, they form the foundation of Earth’s ecosystems. Approximately one million species have been discovered and described, but it’s estimated that another 10 million remain undiscovered.
