Event Description:
A unique exhibition presenting extremely enlarged insect models in breathtaking detail. With over 20 mega-sized models—some reaching up to 5 meters in length and weighing 1 ton—there’s no need for a magnifying glass. Even the tiniest details can be seen with the naked eye.
After a pilot exhibition at the Winter Riding Hall of Valtice Castle and a premiere at the Brno Exhibition Centre, the exhibit moved north to Kunětická hora. Now, you can experience it in Slovakia, at ePORT Shopping Center on Ivanská cesta, Bratislava.
Insects are the most diverse group of creatures on Earth, representing up to 90% of all life forms. They’ve inhabited our planet for over 350 million years. Many plants and animals depend on insects—and vice versa. Without a doubt, insects form the foundation of Earth’s ecosystem. While around 1 million species have been discovered and described, it’s estimated that 10 million more remain unknown.
