We invite you to the First Masquerade Ball at DoubleTree by Hilton Bratislava. An elegant evening full of surprises, fun, dancing, delicious food, and creative costumes will take place on January 31, 2025.

The masquerade ball, also known as bal masqué, has its roots in the 14th century at European royal courts. It gradually spread to Italy, where it became part of the Venetian Carnival. Masks allowed participants to enjoy themselves and break social rules without fear of consequences. Later, masquerade balls became popular in England, where they attracted the public to garden parks.

Today, masquerade balls are returning in a modern style, combining tradition with luxury. At DoubleTree by Hilton, you can enjoy an evening where the past meets the present. Immerse yourself in an atmosphere full of mystery and elegance, experiencing the magic of old times in a new light.

Program
Main Guest of the Evening: Martin Gyimesi, Slovak opera singer, began his musical journey at the age of six in the Bratislava Boys’ Choir. After studying opera singing at the State Conservatory and VŠMU, he performed in the Slovak National Theatre Opera Choir, where he earned solo opportunities. Since 2013, he has been a soloist with the SND Opera, performing at prestigious opera stages both at home and abroad, including a tour in Japan. He collaborates with renowned musical ensembles and participates in youth projects.

Throughout the evening, you will be entertained by a live band.
