An entity of the Ministry of Interior of the Slovak Republic without legal personality established based on Act No. 583/2008 Coll. on the prevention of crime and other anti-social activities. Focus mainly on: – data collection, processing, creation, and provision of statistical information and analyses focusing on the issue of human trafficking, – preparing background materials for the tasks of the national coordinator for combating human trafficking, – ensuring the management and monitoring of the Support and Protection Program for victims of human trafficking, – preparing materials for the development of state policy, government program statements of the Slovak Republic, and conceptual materials in the field of combating human trafficking, – publishing and scientific activities in the field of combating human trafficking, – cooperation with international organizations and other foreign institutions dealing with combating human trafficking, – professional training of entities involved in the national reference mechanism in the field of combating human trafficking and awareness-raising activities.
