The service is intended for citizens of the Slovak Republic and foreigners abroad. Through this service, it is possible to submit a request for an extract from the criminal records to the respective representative office of the Slovak Republic, where the applicant reserves a meeting for processing the request during their stay abroad – a list of representative offices is available. The output of the service is the delivery of criminal records to the citizens of the Slovak Republic abroad. If an eID card is used, communication with the citizen takes place through the eDesk mailbox, speeding up the application process and significantly reducing the risk that the applicant has to visit the representative office multiple times during the application process. However, the service can also be used without an eID card. A guaranteed electronic signature from the citizen is not required for processing the electronic form. The service is available 24 hours a day.
The service is subject to a fee at the representative office. The fee amount is defined by the respective representative office, usually in the local currency of the country where the representative office is located. More information on fees for individual representative offices can be found on the websites of the respective representative offices – a list of representative offices.
