The Cirkul’art Festival will take place this year in the Castle Park of the Manor House in Malacky. You can look forward to 3 days of new circus, street art, and theatre.

Cirkul’art: New Circus Festival

The Cirkul’art Festival of New Circus is an international showcase of creative and genre-diverse artistic productions focused on contemporary theatre and modern circus. It is the only and unique event of its kind in Slovakia, aiming to present a high-quality, inspiring program from various parts of the world.

New circus is one of the youngest genres of performing arts and has become a modern phenomenon reflecting contemporary forms of expression. It is characterized by a narrative style of storytelling through circus skills, using them to convey metaphors, stories, themes, theatrical imagery, or dramatic arcs.
