We warmly invite you to the Albrecht House for a concert by the chamber duo Ján Timčák – violin and Zuzana Zamborská – piano.
PROGRAM:
- Ľudovít Rajter – Suite for Solo Violin
Rajter’s suite for solo violin, completed in 1987, represents a deep reflection on the era and the composer’s experienced perspective. In this unique work, Rajter draws on his life experience, and the music stands out for its depth and thoughtful structure. Although less well-known, the suite offers a challenging solo part filled with sensitive details and a distinctive expression. - Juraj Filas – Les Adieux
“Les Adieux” by Juraj Filas is full of heartfelt melody and emotional strength, which is characteristic of this Slovak composer. The composition carries a poignant message, reflecting Filas’ ability to penetrate the depths of the human soul. Its intense, at times almost lyrical atmosphere resonates deeply with the listener on an emotional level. - Ludwig van Beethoven – Sonata for Piano and Violin in F major, “Spring” Op. 24
Beethoven’s “Spring Sonata” has become a symbol of joyful optimism and musical freshness. This pleasant title reflects the lyrical and naturally flowing character of the piece, evoking the awakening of nature. Beethoven skillfully connects the piano and violin, allowing each instrument space for distinctive interpretation, giving the composition exceptional balance. - Camille Saint-Saëns – Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso
Saint-Saëns’ “Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso,” full of the elegance of the French salon, has become a popular part of the violin repertoire. The work combines Spanish temperament with refined lightness, and the challenging solo part requires brilliant technique and a sense of dynamics. In addition to the virtuosic passages, the piece offers melodic beauty and charm that listeners quickly come to appreciate.
