Discover and experience your body through movement.

This cycle of 6 meetings will explore movement focusing on selected elements such as weight, rhythm, and the relationship between the center and periphery, utilizing various body systems: skeletal, nervous, and organ systems, as well as fluid systems and developmental aspects of movement.

Through shared dance and movement, we will direct our attention to the pelvic area as a vital center of the body and its connection to the chest, head, and limbs.

The course is intended for anyone interested in a broader perspective on movement, dance, and nature, with a kind approach to oneself and a desire to move together.

Body-Mind Centering® is an integrated approach to studying and analyzing movement, touch, and vocal expression based on experiential learning. The core of BMC® involves exploring developmental movement from conception to walking and the process of embodying various body systems, such as bones, organs, or the nervous system. The founder of this approach is American dancer and therapist Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen.
