A production of the Summer Shakespeare Festival – Prague
One of Shakespeare’s most enchanting plays – though there is no actual magic in it – As You Like It is filled with the mysterious atmosphere of the Forest of Arden, where love ultimately triumphs over misfortune. It is a grand ode to love, folly, nature, and most of all, a celebration of freedom.
In the magical Forest of Arden, those who have been banished by a usurping ruler find refuge. They abandon their former lives, go mad with love, dream, write poetry, and flirt. In the name of love, unexpected things happen: identities are swapped and confused – it’s easy to mistake a girl for a boy. Those seized by sudden passion get lost and found again, and the trees become adorned with love poems. The forest is a magical place where it’s easy to get lost – and just as easy to find yourself. Everyone can find an answer to their sorrow or melancholy. And that answer is simple: it is called love.

Latecomers will not be admitted, and tickets will not be refunded or exchanged.
No refunds will be issued after 60 minutes of the performance.
