Event Description:

A funny, intelligent, playful, yet serious film by Montenegrin FAMU graduate Ivan Marinović.

Preparations for a traditional Montenegrin wedding are in full swing. However, just two days before the big day, the rebellious bride Dragana decides she doesn’t want to get married.

But everything is already set—relatives are on their way, food is prepared, gifts are bought, and the band is paid for. Even dynamite has been secured. The groom’s unyielding and stubborn father, Leso, insists that the wedding must go on, no matter what, to save the family’s honor. Meanwhile, the groom Momo, enchanted by the romantic idea of love and marriage, hopes that Dragana will ultimately stay. And so begins the greatest farce ever to unfold on the peninsula, packed with guns, explosives, and Balkan traditions.
